Darren Peterson
Darren J. Peterson, son of Ron Peterson, an original founder of the firm, has a strong background in Real Estate, Corporate Commercial Law, Family Law, and Wills & Estates. Darren has presented to numerous corporations and other groups on these subjects, and has practiced with the firm since graduating from the University of Calgary Law School in 1998. Prior to Law School, Darren was involved in international business in Osaka, Japan. He speaks fluent Japanese and spent five years in Japan working for both the Japanese government and in the private sector being involved in multilateral business negotiations and transactions. In addition to having a lawyer for a father, Darren’s two brothers practice law as well. Darren also played football at the university level at both Brigham Young University and the University of Calgary. Married for 23 years, Darren is the father of 4 girls, coaches community sports teams, and referees high school basketball games whenever his schedule gives him a chance.
Paul Mullen
Paul S. Mullen was born in England, but has lived in Canada since he was 9. He married in 1980, and graduated from the University of Alberta Law School in 1985. Paul’s law practice focuses on Real Estate, Corporate Commercial Transactions, Wills & Estates, Immigration, and Litigation. Paul lived in Colombia for two years, and is fluent in Spanish. In addition to being a father and a grandfather, Paul enjoys playing basketball and traveling with his wife.Dianna Stone
Dianna Stone worked at her father's law practice for over 25 years until his retirement in 2009, and has come over to Peterson Mullen and Company. She brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience.
Cindy Petterson
Cindy Petterson has been a real estate paralegal for over 15 years. Because she has also assists Paul and Darren in litigation matters, she has a strong background in protecting client interests when there are concerns about title, restrictive covenants, or liens on the property.
Kendra Barriscale & Crystal Ausmus
Kendra and Crystal worked at the Sefcik Law Office in South Calgary until Doug Sefcik moved his practice to our offices in Bonavista. Their focus on real estate transactions has provided them with a thorough understanding of the legal requirements, client expectations, and knowledge on how to best serve real estate clients who have particular needs.
